Acceptable Use Policy

Overview

Cookie should be safe, useful, respectful, and reliable for home cooking. This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is not allowed.

This policy applies to your use of Cookie, including accounts, prompts, pantry data, recipes, community features, feedback, support interactions, APIs if any, and future integrations.

Prohibited Conduct

• Illegal activity, fraud, deception, identity misuse, or violation of rights.
• Harassment, hate, threats, exploitation, or abusive conduct toward other people.
• Uploading, sharing, or requesting content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Spam, scraping, credential stuffing, account farming, fake engagement, or automated abuse.
• Interference with Cookie's infrastructure, reliability, security, billing, analytics, or safety systems.
• Use that creates food safety risks, intentionally unsafe cooking instructions, or dangerous misuse of kitchen equipment.

AI Misuse

Do not use Cookie's AI features to generate illegal instructions, evade safety protections, produce harassment, create infringing content, impersonate others, exfiltrate data, test system boundaries abusively, or make decisions that require professional judgment.

Do not enter someone else's sensitive personal information without permission. Do not try to extract prompts, model instructions, hidden system information, credentials, secrets, or non-public data.

Security Abuse

• No unauthorized access, scanning, probing, vulnerability exploitation, malware, denial-of-service activity, or credential attacks.
• No reverse engineering, decompiling, modifying, or bypassing technical protections except where allowed by law.
• No attempts to disable, evade, or interfere with rate limits, abuse detection, monitoring, safety systems, payment controls, or access restrictions.

Account Sharing and Access

Do not share credentials, sell accounts, transfer accounts without permission, or let unauthorized users access your account. Household collaboration features, when available, must be used only as intended and with appropriate consent from household members.

Content Moderation and Enforcement

We may review, remove, restrict, or report content and accounts when we believe this policy, our Terms, Community Guidelines, or law may be violated. We may use automated systems, human review, user reports, and abuse signals.

Enforcement actions may include warnings, feature restrictions, content removal, rate limits, suspension, termination, refusal of refunds where permitted, or legal action. We may preserve and disclose information where required or permitted by law.

Appeals

If you believe an enforcement action was incorrect, contact support@cookie.kitchen with enough information for us to review. We may decline appeals that are abusive, repetitive, unsupported, or legally restricted.
